A Sparkshop kit focusing around app design.
As a volunteer with SparkShop, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing free, hands-on engineering and STEM curriculum to 4th and 5th grade classrooms, I helped design, assemble, and refine educational kits that empower elementary students to explore engineering concepts through creative problem-solving. In collaboration with my team at Aeros Racing, I contributed to the creation of a custom kit focused on principles like aerodynamics and design thinking. This work supported SparkShop’s mission to inspire confidence and curiosity in young learners, especially those from underrepresented communities, by giving them tangible tools to experiment, prototype, and learn through play. This kit, along with accompaning video lessons, will be distributed to Chicago Public Schools fall 2026.
I volunteer with Off The Track, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making the STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) competition more accessible to students from all backgrounds through educational content. Through this role, I helped cover the 2025 STEM Racing World Finals by assisting with media production and event documentation, making sure teams’ stories and technical information were shared with a wider audience. I also appeared as a guest on the Off The Track podcast, where I discussed my experiences in the competition and the importance of lowering barriers to entry in STEM programs.
